Our budtenders are knowledgeable, and they take the time to understand what you want before suggesting a product. We carry a curated selection rather than everything on the market, so ask as many questions as you need.

Shop Cannabis Products in Sherwood Park
Plantlife Sherwood Park carries the full range, from flower and pre-rolls through to accessories.
Flower
Single grams through to value ounces. Indica, sativa and hybrid cultivars from Alberta growers and licensed producers across Canada. Shopping for the household rather than the evening? Ask about the larger formats.
Pre-Rolls
Singles, multi-packs and infused options, rolled and ready. For anyone who would rather not do it themselves at the end of a long day.
Edibles
Gummies, chocolates, baked goods and beverages, federally capped at 10 mg THC per package. Onset is slower than inhaled formats, and your budtender can walk you through the difference.
Vaporizers
510-thread cartridges, all-in-one disposables and the batteries that run them.
Concentrates
Rosin, resin, hash, shatter and diamonds. Format differences matter more here than anywhere else on the shelf, so this one is worth a counter conversation.
Oils & Capsules
Measured formats across a range of THC and CBD ratios, for guests who want consistency without the guesswork.
Topicals
Creams, balms and roll-ons applied to the skin.
Accessories
Grinders, papers, storage, batteries and starter gear. Ask at the counter if you are not sure what you need. Most people buy more than they use.
Visiting the Emerald Drive Store
The store is at 501 Emerald Drive, unit 220, on the corner of Emerald Drive and Sherwood Drive in north Sherwood Park.
Emerald Drive is the main east-west route through this end of the Park, which puts most of Emerald Hills, Summerwood and Clover Bar Ranch a few minutes out. Coming from Edmonton on Highway 16, take the Sherwood Drive or Clover Bar Road exit and follow Emerald Drive to the corner. Emerald Hills Leisure Centre is just up the road.
Doors open at 9:00 AM every day. We close at 10:00 PM Sunday through Wednesday and 11:00 PM Thursday through Saturday. Last call is the posted closing time, not five minutes after it, so give yourself a buffer coming in from Nottingham or Mills Haven on a Friday night.
Order ahead online and pick up in store. The menu you shop is this store’s menu, so you are not choosing from a shelf across the river.
Bring valid government-issued photo ID showing you are 18 or older. Everyone gets carded, every visit. That is the AGLC rule, not a judgment call.
Sherwood Park and Strathcona County
Sherwood Park is an urban hamlet of 75,575 people inside Strathcona County, immediately east of Edmonton.
Which is enough people to make it Alberta’s sixth-largest city, except that it is not a city. It is a hamlet. A hamlet with a mall, a leisure centre and a performing arts theatre. Ask a local about this and settle in.
Strathcona County is a specialized municipality with its own council and its own services, and Sherwood Park is its urban centre. Festival Place has been staging shows since 1994. Broadmoor Lake Park is where the Park goes on a summer evening. Sherwood Park Mall is still where you end up when you need three unrelated errands done in one stop.
North and east of here is Alberta’s Industrial Heartland, the largest hydrocarbon processing region in the country. A lot of the county works shifts out that way, which is part of why the doors open at nine.
Plantlife is Alberta-owned, and being 40-some stores helps. We move enough weed to get a better price from the people who grow it, and your Plantlife Family account works the same at every one of them. The Fort Saskatchewan cannabis store is the next one over if you are heading that way.
In July 2024, Plantlife became the first retailer in the province to sell legal cannabis at a major Alberta festival, at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival in Edmonton. Same crew, different counter.
