We’re an Alberta-owned store, open daily, planted right in the middle of Grande Prairie’s biggest retail hub, Costco, Canadian Tire, Home Depot and Walmart all anchor the area around us. We’re right at Westgate Centre, where Highway 43 meets 116 Street, Grande Prairie’s biggest retail hub. Costco, Canadian Tire, Home Depot and Walmart all anchor the area around us, and yes, that Canadian Tire really is the largest single-storey location in the country. COBS Bread and Liquor Depot Westgate Centre actually share our building.
This is the west-side store, so Kensington, Arbour Hills and Pinnacle Ridge households are all a short trip away. Kensington splits into three parts, Estates, Living and Shop, and sits close to the airport and the Grande Prairie Power Centre off Highway 43. Arbour Hills, tucked into the city’s northwest corner, backs onto Bear Creek Golf Club and Prairie Mall, both a five-minute drive. Pinnacle Ridge rounds things out near Westpointe, Mission Heights and Gateway.
Beyond the city, Clairmont, Wembley and Beaverlodge round out a wide Peace Country catchment, and this stretch of Highway 43 pulls in shoppers from well beyond Grande Prairie itself, part of what makes the city a regional draw for northwest Alberta, with Highway 40 feeding in commuters from the north too.
