What We Carry at Shawnessy Plantlife
Shawnessy Plantlife carries the full cannabis menu, shaped for the south Calgary run off Macleod Trail and the Shawnessy shopping hub.
Flower
Dried flower is the core of the store, with indica, sativa and hybrid options across every price tier and a rotating wall of value ounces for planned buys. You will find both name brands and small-batch jars, sorted so you can shop by format and by budget. Ask which jars came in this week, or ask for the lowest dollar-per-gram that day.
Pre-Rolls
Pre-rolls cover single grab-and-go joints, multi-packs for the week, and infused options built for a stronger pour. The multi-packs are where regulars find their best per-gram value on a roll.
Vaporizers
The vape wall runs 510 cartridges, pods and all-in-one disposables across formats and potencies. A 510 cart and battery is the value play once you own the hardware, while a disposable is the simplest way in. If you are choosing between the two, ask at the counter.
Edibles
Edibles include gummies, chocolates, baked goods and THC drinks, all sold within Health Canada package limits. Onset runs longer than inhaling and varies person to person, so the team will walk you through serving size and timing before you buy.
Concentrates
Concentrates run from live resin and rosin to shatter, diamonds and hash for experienced users who want potency and full terpene flavour. The team can match a texture and extraction style to how you like to use it.
Oils, Capsules and Topicals
For measured, smoke-free formats, the store carries oils, softgel capsules and topical creams and balms. Oils and capsules give a precise, repeatable serving, and topicals are a non-inhaled option applied to the skin.
Accessories
Round out the trip with grinders, papers and cones, 510 batteries, glass, lighters and storage. If a cart left you needing a battery or a new ounce needs a proper jar, it is on the same shelf.
Your Cannabis Store in Shawnessy, Calgary
Plantlife Shawnessy operates from the Shawville shopping area near the Shawnessy C-Train station and Macleod Trail in deep-south Calgary, in the same plaza as Safeway, Pet Valu and HEAL Wellness. That places it in easy reach of the south communities around it, including Millrise, Midnapore, Sundance and Bridlewood.
Because the south end is settled and busy, the store serves a wide catchment. Households from Evergreen, Somerset and Silverado swing in with their errands, with Macleod Trail and James McKevitt Road carrying that traffic in from the wider south Calgary area. Fish Creek Provincial Park sits a short drive northeast.
This is the southern anchor of the Calgary core, distinct from the deep-SE Seton and Shepard stores and from the Okotoks satellite further south on Highway 2A.

What Calgary Says About Plantlife Shawnessy
Plantlife Shawnessy holds a 4.7-star rating across roughly 55 Google reviews.
Across those reviews the same themes repeat: strong product knowledge and a base of returning customers.
Why Plantlife Over the Competition
South Calgary has chain stores and independents within a few blocks, so the choice comes down to how you get treated. The chains lean on a loyalty app and a big discount wall, then run thin on floor staff the moment you have a real question. Down south, the store worth the drive is the one whose team knows the product cold.
Plantlife is the independent that does not make you choose between fair prices and being looked after. You get budtenders who stay long enough to know the shelves, everyday pricing that holds, and a counter that treats a quick top-up the same as a full shop. People over prices.
